A CAMPAIGN THAT STARTED WITH A CHOICE
My first campaign for public office was as an independent candidate. Although victory was out of reach, the experience was invaluable. I organized a campaign in a short period of time because I believed the office of mayor was too important for voters not to have a meaningful choice and a strong alternative voice.
LISTENING TO ROCKFORD
That campaign gave me the opportunity to listen to residents throughout Rockford. Regardless of neighborhood or political affiliation, people repeatedly raised the same concerns: crime, property taxes, government spending, deteriorating infrastructure, economic opportunity, education, and accountability.
Those conversations helped shape my priorities for Rockford.
WHY I’M RUNNING NOW
I am running for mayor as a Republican because I believe in responsible spending, limited and effective government, individual opportunity, safe neighborhoods, strong families, and an economy driven by private investment. However, the mayor must represent every Rockford resident—not simply members of one political party.
My administration will focus on practical solutions, measurable results, and responsible stewardship of public resources.
